Homeschooled Kids Blog Carnival 10

Edition #10 - 30th July 2009

Home >> Homeschooled Kids Blog Carnival >> Edition #10

Welcome to Homeschooled Kids Blog Carnival 10.

Carnival 10 - Sunflower

I really hope you are all enjoying the summer. It is great to see that some of you have still found time to blog.

I will be taking a break for August so there will be no carnival until September.

If you have an (adult) blog and would like to host this carnival sometime, then I would love to hear from you.

We have another new blog this month.

  • A big welcome to Lego Maniac who loves to build all kinds of Lego creations. You can see a great example of this in his Drag Racer post. Good work, Lego Maniac.

So, who has been busy so far this summer?

  • Buttercup has been having sew much fun. I think your blankets would make great Christmas presents too.
  • If you need further crafty inspiration, then My Material Maddness has posted a list of cool crafty websites to inspire you.
  • Vienna has been knitting. Here is her update.
  • Windrider tells us why she loves horses.
  • I think Windrider's post will be enjoyed by StableDays who shares tips on riding a green horse.
  • Science Mouse has a new cat. She ran a competition to find a name - but you need to read her post to find out what it is.
  • Because the next carnival isn't until the end of September, I am going to leave this carnival open until 3rd August. Write a quick post, let me know, and I will add it for you.

  • Amiri has been for a day at the zoo. But you will have to do some work to find out his favourite animal!
  • Amber is back from the farm. Go see if you got a shout out.
  • Alex has been on a visit to Colorado Springs. Shame you didn't find any gold though, Alex.
  • Elferkid tells us about her visit to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. I think Alex would probably laugh at my accent too!!
  • If you are squeamish, then don't go and read Benny's post about a snake eating a frog. With pictures too. Great snake Benny.
  • Last, but not least this month is Neonglitter. And the good news is, she's back. Read her post to find out where she has been.
  • If you would like to enter your blog in this carnival, then scroll down for entry details.

Thanks to you all for your great blog posts this month. I am looking forward to reading your blogs in September!
