lucky pennys

by joella
(weiser, id, usa)

Once I had a layover in an airport for an hour so I pulled a dollar out of my pocket and traded it for pennies.

Then I went around putting the pennies heads up on the floor so whoever picked them up could be lucky... I also handed out a few of these lucky pennies!

Volunteer at Shelter

by R.D
(Belleville)

Volunteer at your local animal shelter. (

Don't expect any pay but the good feeling of helping out animals that don't have owners that can give them the loving they need.

It feels great and definitely will make the other shelter workers and the animals happy!

Gifts for strangers!

(UK)

Hi there!
I stumbled across your website looking for inspiration for my current project.

I'm a seventeen year old girl living in the U.K who's just started to leave gifts for random people with uplifting notes attached. I get excited by the thought of making a stranger happy by my small act, and think if more people just tried to be nice the World would be such a great place to live in!

Really love your random acts of kindness ideas, especially the 'money in the vending machine' and 'flowers on the windscreen' idea, you're an inspiration!

My websites:
twitter.com/strangerlove5
www.friendlyfiver.tumblr.com

Would be great if you could give my blog a mention as I don't have a single follower yet and I'd like to spread the message.

Thankyou!
Hope you continue with your great work and have a happy day.

I wanted to say THANK YOU for your fabulous website. I found your website, and finally I have the confidence to take the plunge and take my daughter out of school and educate her at home, thank you, thank you.
