How many days a week do you homeschool?

by Mary
(NV)

How many days a week should you homeschool? Do we have to do it every day?

divider

No Mary, you don't have to homeschool every day, as long as you meet your State requirements.

Many people homeschool Monday to Thursday, taking Friday off. Judy in South Africa does Friday Fun Days. A friend of mine homeschools for 4 weeks - and then takes a week long break. And I know of another family that work around Daddy's work shifts.

It really is up to you to find a home school schedule that suits your family.

Best wishes, Julie

I wanted to say THANK YOU for your fabulous website. I found your website, and finally I have the confidence to take the plunge and take my daughter out of school and educate her at home, thank you, thank you.
