"The beginning of knowledge is the discovery of something we do not understand." Frank Herbert
Homeschoolers are in the lucky position of having huge potential in what we can add to our homeschool curriculum.
There is no need to completely stick to standard mainstream topics. Homeschoolers have the whole world as their classroom (and who knows what bit of knowledge your child might need in the future). It is ok to wander the by-ways of learning and do something that will really interest you all.
And so I present my list of 100 Subjects to open your eyes to the possibilities!!
100 Possible Subjects
Customs and Legends
Entomology (study of insects)
Herpetology (study of amphibians and reptiles)
Mycology (study of Fungi)
Palaeontology (study of dinosaurs!)
The observant amongst you will notice I actually only have 90 subjects on my list!! (Somehow, that didn't sound as catchy as 100!).
What have I missed! Let me now and I will add it to the list.
