Homeschoolers are in the lucky position of having huge potential in what we can add to our homeschool curriculum.

There is no need to completely stick to standard mainstream topics. Homeschoolers have the whole world as their classroom (and who knows what bit of knowledge your child might need in the future). It is ok to wander the by-ways of learning and do something that will really interest you all.
